Enamel Postage Stamp Holder by Kelvin Chen

A beautiful and yet practical gift. Based on the techniques developed in the 17th century for working with enamel miniatures, each stamp holder represents many hours of excellent craftsmanship, from cutting cutting the copper base, assembly and hand painting the enamel. No less than five firings are necessary to solidify the enamels and give them the bright luminous colors. As with any handmade craft, minor imperfections are part of the charm. Born of fire, labor and tradition, this unique piece will surely bring you many generations of enjoyment.

Pull open the hinged lid and place a roll of stamps inside. The roll of stamps will come out through a slot in the side of the piece. Keeps your stamps nice and neat and you have abeautiful collectible sitting on your desk to enjoy! Each piece includes a silk box for storage. A certificate of authenticity is included and the piece is stamped on the bottom with the name Kelvin Chen and an edition number.
